There is a poaching practice of stunning fish with dynamite for the convenience of collecting a large amount of catch from the surface of the water body – so as to quickly obtain everything at once. A mermaid, surfacing along with the stunned small fish, symbolizes that great dream or fortune that each of us fears to ruin.
This is a reflection on the pursuit of the instant and grand, during which it is very important not to miss the subtle, irreplaceable details. They may turn out to be no less significant than the intended final result. After all, in the chase for immediate achievements, one can carelessly destroy the very fairy tale.
