Georgy OstretsovThe Forest King, 2021 ·
(from the “Various fairy tales” series)
Canvas, acrylic, mixed technique · 200 × 90 cm · Russia

Humans measure everything. They comprehend the world through themselves, so nature can truly reveal itself to us through our embodiment in it. Mentally endowing the surrounding nature with human images. And now, a tree in the form of a forest king explains to us the laws of its reign.
