I took my bike, with my outdoor easel on the luggage rack. I climbed up into the mountains. “Here is a beautiful viewpoint,” I said to myself. You should know that mountains are not easy to paint; it can quickly become shapeless. I sketched this landscape to bring out its relief, with its sharply contrasting colors.
