In cosmology, the horizon of possibilities, or event horizon, is the boundary separating the known universe from the unknown zone surrounding a black hole. But in painting, it would be pointless to depict a black hole. However, using this concept on a mental or prospective level is much more interesting for the painter. Thus, any stain that appears on this horizon can signify a future event or a decision to be made.
