Yves Saint-Laurent was quite a designer! He is responsible, among other things, for the safari jacket, the women's tuxedo, the Mondrian dress, and so on. The tribute is well-deserved. I started with one of his dresses, the top of which is a gilded metal molding of a breast, and the bottom in cobalt blue fabric, hence the use of gold pigments. For the purposes of the painting, I added a few color variations.
