Artist about this artwork In February, the almond trees were already in bloom, filling the air with their fragrance. Their white flowers, tinged with pink, stood out against the landscape. Nature has a gift for dazzling me. In 1999, I took a fifteen-day trip to Crete, organized by my mother. We rented a car to travel along the coast and through the olive groves of the interior. I brought my outdoor easel to immortalize the landscapes we encountered.
